Peter Fawkes

Born to a half-breed father and a pure-blood werewolf mother, Peter Randall Fawkes hardly lives a normal life even if he wasn't a werewolf. Peter fights for a living on the behalf of big mega corporations as an "Attack Secretary."

Peter is a mild-mannered fellow who's generally good-natured and relatively well liked by most folks he meets. It's rare to see Peter express any intense emotion, as he's mostly relaxed and content in his approach to life, letting problems flow over and past him.

In contrast, his mixed blood leaves the wolfish side of him slightly uncontrollable. In part, his calm nature was learned to control the Wolf in him, to prevent accidentally changing out of anger. Unfortunately for him because of his impure blood, on the night of the full moon, he tends to go slightly mad, even in man-form. Because of this he will often take refuge in unpopulated areas in his Wolf-shape, in which the moon-madness is not as strong.

Peter's mother, a pureblood who mated with his halfbreed father during a full-moon encounter, died when he was quite young. She raised him during his earliest years as a wolf, but when she acquired a wasting sickness, made him change his skin and left him in the care of an old human friend. After that he was raised as a man, and during puberty or when he could not control his changes, he was kept in the basement to protect his human foster parents from his madness.

Understandably Peter does not talk about his "condition" although he slipped once when talking to one of his colleagues at work. Since he would not change for them, and because they had seen him go moon-crazy before, they have taken to believing he's slightly mad.

Peter believes the wolf in him is evil, like in werewolf movies, and that it has a thirst for human blood. He will sometimes wear a silver cross for weeks until he is very ill, in the hope that he can drive the wolf out of himself.

Peter is of the Line of Brenin, a line of werewolves who named themselves after the Welsh mythological figure, Brenin Llwyd, the Grey King of the underworld.

Lucius O'Connall

Lucius O'Conall is of a unique and failing line of werewolves, the Hekatoi, sometimes called the Keepers of Secrets, Storytellers, or the werewolf historians.

Lucius was raised by two pureblood werewolf parents who held their duties as Keepers very sacredly. Since he was a child he was taught all the old stories and legends, and encouraged to seek out his own kind, to gather a Pack if he could. As any child would, he took them lightly; but at sixteen his parents were killed in their wolf-shapes by hunters, and he fled. Eventually, wounded and in pain, he revealed himself to a lover he thought would help him. But the man abused his trust and then scorned him, and he went to the wolves instead, who drove him away as soon as they scented him. Lost and hungry, he took a vow to find others like him, and gather a Pack as his parents had asked of him. Thus far it has been a failure; most werewolves live comfortably in the society of man, and do not care to gather in groups that might bring attention to their differences. Eventually he gave up his quest, and sought only to find a territory to settle in, which is when he found Peter.

Lucius is proud and slightly arrogant because of his upbringing and position. He has a dislike for man and a love for the Old Ways. He is bitter because of the difficulties in his life, as he has never coped well with disappointment. He was raised to believe he deserved better, that the exile of his people from the Fae was what left him living a lesser life than he should. While he did not take that to heart in his youth, when his parents died, it was convienent answer to the natural question of why fate had suddenly taken them from him.
